GET STUFF

You’ve read how to take action - here are the tools you need to raise awareness on your campus.

Each semester we’ll post new materials that you can customize to the needs of your organization on campus and print. What suggestions do you have?

Don't Drive The High Way
What's Your Problem
Fallen Star
If you have a cough, a headache, a fever, a stomach ache, if you can’t go to sleep, if you sleep too much, what do you do? Take a pill. At least that is what many of us have been taught to do by our parents or recommended to do by our doctors.
The Social Stigma of Pot
Okay, so you are sick and tired of hearing about how dangerous pot is – that it's addictive, it kills brain cells and leads to using harder drugs – which are all true by the way. Well then, let’s talk about the effect pot has on your reputation:
Ecstacy
Ecstasy is called a designer drug because it is manufactured, not grown. It is illegal and addictive. Ecstasy is commonly found in nightclubs and usually comes in pill, tablet or capsule form, marked with trendy images.

Ecstasy used by itself causes rapidly accelerated heart rates, and taking Ecstasy with alcohol or other drugs is extremely dangerous and can be lethal. The Don’t Add Me campaign asks students not to fall prey to the false peace, love, unity and respect that many claim Ecstasy promises.
DMAO
THIS CAMPAIGN IS GEARED TOWARDS COLLEGE STUDENTS

Drinking your whatever off may give others the perfect opportunity to exploit your altered mental state on facebook or Youtube, but binge drinking is actually not that funny. Shots, drinking games, chugging - all these are ways to invite alcohol poisoning.

Drinking more than one drink per hour for women, two drinks per hour for men or drinking at all if you're under 21 puts you in the danger zone for not only spending the early morning hours violently ill but also making poor decisions about driving, sex and other life-altering actions. Alcohol also seriously affects the way other drugs work in your body; for example, combining marijuana use with drinking can suppress the body's natural reaction (vomiting) to the buildup of alcohol and magnify the drug's toxicity.

Help others to see what DMAO really looks like.
Farming Good
One of the fastest growing drug trends in the U.S. doesn't involve illegal drugs. Prescription drug abuse is increasing rapidly due to its easy accessibility and its false reputation for enhancing academic success.

Certain prescription drugs can be deadly, especially when mixed with other medications. Please help a friend if you notice he/she is abusing meds. Pharming or misusing prescription drugs is a very dangerous game.
Success 101
There are many ways to secure a successful future; remaining drug and alcohol free is the first and foremost. Keeping your health at its optimum and avoiding addiction gives you every opportunity for academic success and for healthy relationships with friends.

Positive lifestyle choices that affirm your personal health and well-being are always the best ones and contribute to making a strong impact on your future. Spread this formula for success.
