Taking A New Look At The Problem Of Drugged Driving
The Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) released a new analysis of data indicating that roughly 1 in 4 fatally injured drivers who tested positive for drugs was under the age of 25.

This is a deeper look into the previously released information from National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) Fatality Analysis Reporting System (FARS) census that showed that 1 in 3 motor vehicle driver fatalities tested positive for drugs and this has increased 5 percent over the past 5 years. So ONDCP and Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) have partnered to address the issue of drugged driving, by offering support to the victims, by educating young drivers and their parents about the associated perils, and by raising public awareness of the devastating consequences of drugged driving.
